Communications Policy

By submitting your information you authorize Uprova Credit, LLC and its successors, assigns, and servicing agents (collectively “Lender” and also “we,” “us,” and “our”) to communicate with you, the submitter of your information, in connection with your inquiry.

  1. Communications Generally. You give us permission to contact you – at any telephone number or mobile device you have indicated at any point in your relationship with us – using any means of communication, including SMS and telephone calls (whether manually dialed or using an automatic telephone dialing system), as well as email, and prerecorded messages (collectively, “communications”).You agree that we may send you these communications regarding your inquiry as well as to inform you about our promotional offers and to tell you about other offers for products and services (including those of our affiliates or marketing partners) that we think may interest you.You acknowledge that you are not required to agree to receive any such communications to your mobile or residential number as a condition of obtaining a loan with us.
  1. SMS Communications. You specifically acknowledge that we may send communications to your mobile device, at the telephone number or numbers you have indicated to us, or which you may indicate at any time in the future, via SMS. These communications may be for the purposes indicated above or for any other legitimate business purpose. You acknowledge that you have provided us with a working mobile phone number and have an SMS-capable mobile device and active account with a communications service provider. All SMS communications sent to you by us will be considered “in writing.” We may modify or terminate our text messaging services from time to time, for any reason, and without notice, including the right to terminate text messaging with or without notice, without liability to you, any other user or third party.
  2. Charges/Fees. We do not assess from you any charge or service fee for the communications described, but you acknowledge that message, data, and other rates and charges may apply as per your agreement with your communications service provider.
  3. Stopping Communications. You may stop receiving marketing communications by asking to be added to our “do not market” list, and you may stop receiving telephone calls of any kind by asking us to stop calling you; you may make these requests via email or written notice to Uprova Credit, LLC, 635 E. Highway 20, V, or by contacting us at 866-362-3444. You may stop receiving text messages by replying “STOP” to any text you receive, or by contacting us by the above methods and informing us that you no longer wish to receive text messages. You may stop receiving marketing emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link that is provided at the bottom of all marketing email communications, or by contacting us by the above methods and informing us that you no longer wish to receive marketing emails.
  4. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liability, cost and expenses (including reasonable attorneys fees) arising from your provision of a mobile phone number that is not your own or your violation of applicable federal, state or local law, regulation or This indemnification obligation will survive conclusion of your relationship with Lender for a period of three years. Receipt of a communication may be delayed or impacted by factor(s) pertaining to your communications service provider(s). We will not be liable for losses or damages arising from any disclosure of account information to third parties, non-delivery, delayed delivery, misdirected delivery or mishandling of, or inaccurate content in, the communications sent by us.

Uprova® is a website owned and operated by Uprova Credit, LLC., a tribal lending entity wholly owned and operated by the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake, California. The Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake is a sovereign nation located within the United States of America and operates on the Tribe's reservation. Applications approved by 4:30 PM EST Monday through Friday are typically funded the next business day. Uprova Credit, LLC may perform a credit check or otherwise verify the personal and financial information submitted on your application. First-time Uprova Credit, LLC customers may qualify for a loan of $300 up to $5,000. Complete disclosures of APR, fees, and payment terms are set forth in the loan agreement which you should read before you sign and obtain funds. Your loan may be repaid at any time without penalty.

Uprova® subprime loans are designed to help you meet short-term borrowing needs, such as for car repair, medical care for you or your family, or travel expenses in connection with your job. These loans are an expensive form of credit and are not intended to provide a solution for long-term credit or other financial needs. Alternative forms of credit such as a credit card advance, personal loan, home equity line of credit, and borrowing from a friend or relative may be a less expensive and more suitable source of funding.

For highly qualified customers who opt for loans of $500.00 or more, the APR is 34.5% and the loan term is 36 months. If you do not qualify for these terms you may be eligible for a shorter term loan at a higher APR. Highly qualified personal loan examples: 1) Loan amount: $2,500.00, Fee: 0%, APR: 34.5%, Term: 36 months, Bi-Weekly Payment: $51.58, Total Loan Cost: $4,023.53 | 2) Loan amount: $5,000.00, Fee: 0%, APR: 34.5%, Term: 36 months, Bi-weekly Payment: $103.16, Total Loan Cost: $8,047.07.

*Funds are typically deposited into approved customer accounts within 30 minutes when using the Instant Funding option. Exact timing depends on customer's bank. Prepaid cards are not eligible for instant funding. Same day funding by ACH may also be available, depending on your bank, which may also result in additional fees charged by us or your bank. Please check with your bank to confirm availability and cost.

**Not all loan applicants will be approved. You will not be eligible for funding if, for example, the Tribe does not allow access to its jurisdiction from the market in which you reside, your application is missing required information, contains inaccurate information, or if your information cannot be verified. Applicants must always meet underwriting standards to be approved for a loan.

¹Checking your rate or applying for a loan with Uprova® will not affect your FICO credit score. If approved for a loan, any payment performance on the loan will be reported to credit bureaus and may impact your FICO or alternative credit score.
